George K. Griffin
Over 25 years of varied Human Resources experience George has worked on the frontline in sales, marketing, recruitment and in back office research and analysis. He also has extensive experience in, and familiarity with, both PNG’s extractive industry sector and its information technology sector.
With qualifications and training in Business Management, Business Administration, and Behavioural and Competency-based interview techniques, George is able to appreciate the many varied concerns of business and the constant need for timely decision-making processes supported by an effective workforce. George has wide-spread, hands-on experience in recruitment consultancy, business development, information technology and leadership/management roles.
With a proven record in his field, George has regularly sourced the best national candidates from across Papua New Guinea, and internationally, for executive, management, professional and trade roles, and improved the profitably of local companies through tailored payroll management interventions, and contract labour hire.
Des Blake
Des has an extensive corporate background having worked and consulted in the fields of marketing, international oil trading, supply and distribution, project management, manufacturing, marketing, and the not-for-profit sector for over 30 years. Des also has extensive Senior Management and Director experience. He has held Director (Deloitte), Group General Manager (DataNets) and Senior (AusAID) Adviser roles in PNG and Chief Executive Officer roles in Australia, as well as visiting lectureships, for over fifteen years, at Victoria University in post-graduate management and organisational studies.
Des specializes in Strategic Planning and Total Quality Management and has deep industry experience in diagnosing the critical factors which impact an enterprise’s efficiencies and effectiveness, and guiding those organisations through business process improvement programs. Within Papua New Guinea, Des has provided consulting advice for major public and private sector enterprises in strategic planning, total quality management, change management, operational improvement, procurement policies and processes, salary benchmarking, corporate governance, risk management, and board and director responsibilities and governance. Des recently wrote, on behalf of Kumul Holdings (formerly IPBC), the Code of Governance and Charter of Good Governance for PNG’s State-Owned Enterprises, and developed and conducted two-day Director’s Leadership Workshops for the Board Members and Senior management of each of the SOEs.
In addition to Civil Engineering and post-graduate Management qualifications, Des is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has also participated in specialised training in public sector management conducted by the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
Des has been on various Boards here and in Australia. In PNG, he was Deputy Governor of Port Moresby International School, President of Boroko Amateur Swimming Club, and a Member of the board of Transparency International and International Education Agency.
Des’s client list in PNG includes, among others, Telikom, PNG Ports, Air Niugini, PNG Power, IRC (Tax Review Committee), Kumul Holdings, Brian Bell, OTDF, Ok Tedi Landowners Royalty Investment Trust, MRA, RPYC, Puma Oil, Agmark, Cocoa Board, Electoral Commission, BAT, G4S, and MRDC.
Elizabeth M. Lupalrea
Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree in Business Management from the University of Papua New Guinea.
She joined CC Pacific in 2012. Prior to this she was selected for the graduate program of a major recruitment company, and later joined one of PNG’s leading hotels as assistant to the HR Manager.
Elizabeth has complemented her experience in the Hospitality, Recruitment and Human Resources sectors with the acquisition of a broad range of skills in office administration & management, recruitment & placement, contractor management, employment agency management (Visa & Work Permit) and payroll bureau services. She has also developed significant capability in Career Transition (Outplacement) Counselling, Assessment Centre Methodologies and interview techniques, and has been a key contributor in several important bulk recruitment engagements for clients such as G4S (retained by the Australian Government on Manus Island) and SP Brewery.
Elizabeth is responsible for on-going management of graduate recruitment programs for two of our leading clients, SP Brewery Limited and Steamships Trading Company Limited.
Eremas Sirambat
Eremas has over 15 years of varied experience in Human Resources, working across many industry sectors, but particularly in the mining, engineering/construction, and retailing industries.
With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Papua New Guinea, Eremas is a strong Human Resource practitioner.
Eremas is a confident and good communicator, possesses an approachable demeanor, is a great listener and has proven success as a senior member of the HR teams supporting the workforces of some of PNG’s most respected brands such as Brian Bell and Newcrest Mining.
A recent and valued addition to the team, he has extensive recruitment experience in executive search, graduate recruitment, and large company placements at all grades of occupation, as well as being skilled in career development, HR Consulting, and workplace health and safety policies.
