Bulk Recruitment/Psychometric Evaluation/Assessment Centres
CC Pacific continues to provide ongoing support to clients, SP Brewery and Steamships Trading Company with their recruitment campaigns for Graduate Development Programs.
CC Pacific provides pivotal support throughout the recruitment phase utilising the Bulk Recruitment methodology. Vigorous recruitment processes involving screening interviews, psychometric testing and behavioural assessments followed by Assessment Centres are all employed to identify the most suitable candidates for the clients.
Core disciplines relative to the clients needs such as Business, Engineering, Human Resources and Physics & Instrumentation, commerce and accounting, information technology are targeted throughout the process. All collated information is submitted to the client at the end of each campaign.
G4S - Manus Island Detention / Asylum Centre
During September 2013, CC Pacific was engaged by G4S to conduct a recruitment exercise on Manus Island for the Australian Department of Immigration. This assignment involved the interviewing of over 900 candidates from across the Manus province and putting them all through assessment centres over a 13 day period. The final result/outcome from the exercise was the mobilising of approximately 430 Manus locals in to various roles with G4S from Supervisory roles, Finance & Administration, clerical, Static Guards, Close Protection, etc… The assessment centre provided G4S the latitude to select suitable candidates to undergo on-the-job training / induction before placing them in jobs.
In addition to this recruitment assignment CC Pacific was also tasked to arrange and provide pre-employment medicals and police checks.
Payroll Bureau/Labour Hire & Contracting
CC Pacific provides a payroll bureau service to different clients in PNG. These clients vary across different industries and numbers on the payroll and nationalities. We currently provide the service to a women’s landowner group in Porgera that employs over 180 local staff, Orica PNG across the country employing over 60 staff and Clough Niugini.
We also oversee contracting staff to different clients on various sites and industries. We have and currently provide the service to Morobe Mining Joint Venture where we contract foreign national tradesmen. These tradesmen are employed as CC Pacific staff employed in PNG on CC Pacific Work Permit and Visas. Prior to this CC Pacific employed and contracted over 400 labourers across all MMJV sites managing all employment and industrial affairs for the employees.
CC Pacific was also tasked to source and contract to MMJV 100 national tradesmen from across the country. Of the requirement of 100 we were able to successfully source and deploy on site as CC Pacific contractors 60 national tradesmen for 18 before MMJV hired them permanently
Employment Agency/Advisory Services
CC Pacific is a Registered Employment Agent providing professional work Permit & Visa processing services for clients from many sectors employing expatriates from across the globe. CC Pacific employs fulltime staff dedicated to the work permit and visa processing allowing for regular client feedback and updates throughout the whole process from receipt of application/s and payment, Lodgement and processing and collection. As a Nationally owned business we make it our goal to deliver services at high level.
At CC Pacific we make it a must to introduce our clients to the Heads of Department and encourage them to be upfront about their operations and/or projects to give the department a feel for time lines being worked toward or project deadlines
Executive/Professional Search & Selection
CC Pacific was engaged by Motor Vehicle Insurance Limited (MVIL) to assist the Board and Management source and appoint its Executive Managers across the organisation. The assignment involved a number of activities i.e.; Salary Bench Marking, Advertising & Shortlisting and the design of interview guides for the interviewing panel.
CC Pacific has been sourcing and identifying professionals at all levels and across various sectors and industries such as the Corporate Affairs Manager of Talisman, Executive Director for Chamber of Mines & Petroleum, etc… With the use of different recruitment methodologies and techniques, CC Pacific along with alliance partners aims to deliver the best candidate possible for every role.

Downer EDI & Ok Tedi Mining Limited
In February 2012, CC Pacific Ltd successfully sourced and placed a total of 15 Heavy Equipment Fitters with Downer EDI in Australia. These 15 candidates underwent a thorough screening process which involved testing, assessment centres and in-depth interviews to ensure that all candidates met the requirements of our client in Australia. The total number of candidates that went through this process over a two-week period was 150 Heavy Equipment Fitters.
CC Pacific was involved in mass recruitment exercise involving the sourcing of Heavy Equipment Operators for Ok Tedi Mining Ltd. The involved an advertising campaign and screening and the final presentation of a total of 100 candidates out of which 40 candidates were on-boarded and employed with Ok Tedi Mining Ltd.
